Open House Tours<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join us for our weekly Tour Marketing meeting to promote a listing, hear about what\u2019s on the market and what\u2019s coming up, share wants\/needs and see some friendly faces! Meetings are held on Thursdays at our office, 2525 Main St., Soquel from 9 – 9:30 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Access the Tour Sheet:<\/strong>
The tour sheet will be available on this page Wednesday at 2 PM. You may also have it emailed to you\u00a0by signing up for our email distribution list with Katy Clark<\/a> .\u00a0 Copies\u00a0will not be available for pick up at our office<\/strong>.\u00a0

How to put a listing on the Open House Tour:<\/strong>
To put an Open House on the tour, it must be listed on the MLS with the sponsor of \u201cSanta Cruz County Association of REALTORS\u201d and\u00a0SCCAR<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0chosen as the Association,\u00a0by 12 NOON the Wednesday prior<\/strong>\u00a0to the tour. Tours cancellations must be called or emailed to\u00a0Katy Clark<\/a>\u00a0if they are cancelled after the deadline\u00a0with the Area, MLS# and street address of the listing. Tour will be posted online Wednesday by 2pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cancellations after the deadline<\/strong> must be emailed directly to Katy Clark at kclark@mysccar.org<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For late additions<\/strong>, members are welcome to join the Thursday tour meeting at 9 AM<\/strong>, either in person<\/strong> or via Zoom<\/strong>. Please note that no additions sheet will be created<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What listings can go on tour?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

> Only Active status
> All classes are available
> There is no cap to how many times a property can be on
our tour
> Non members may have a listing on our tour for a fee of $25 per run<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

If it is a new listing, enter an exclamation point as the first character in the tour remarks. Then without a space, enter your tour remarks. (Your listing will not show up on the Tour Sheet as a \u2018NEW\u2019 listing unless you enter the exclamation point. By doing so, it will prompt the \u2018New\u2019 field in the Association\u2019s tour program.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Non-Association Members \u2013 Cost $25 for each tour submitted. Payment must be received by 3pm the Wednesday before the tour or the property will be removed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Cancellations will not be refunded<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Extending TOUR HOURS: Please indicate in the \u201cREMARKS\u201d section. You may extend tour hours so long as it encompasses the set tour time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effective June 5, 2025 the tour time for areas 52-59, 185 & 199 has been changed to 1:30 – 4 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who must be present at an open house:<\/strong> The listing agent or a representative meeting the requirements of the Bureau of Real Estate MUST be present during the Open House. If someone other than the listing agent is present, it must be noted in the \u201cREMARKS\u201d field. Tour hours may be increased but not decreased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DRE: A non-licensee can “sit” at an open house, distribute sales and promotional literature, and\/or direct a potential client to a licensee for further discussions. However, a real estate license is required to discuss the terms of a real property transaction and\/or the specific housing needs of a potential client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
