Recent storm events and climate extremes are intensifying potential hazards, with increased flooding, landslides, more frequent and intense wildfires, and coastal damage. Adapting to this new reality is becoming increasingly important.
To protect property owners, the State of California has mandated disclosure of potential natural hazards that may exist on specific properties.
Successful real estate professionals must have the ability to educate potential buyers and sellers about the natural hazards that may impact their property as well as provide them with information for mitigating future damage or losses.
By taking this class, agents will gain the tools to effectively evaluate the potential hazards that exist for a property and be able to communicate helpful information to their clients, which will result in greater sales success while at the same time creating a stronger and more resilient community.
