Big changes to the appraisal process are coming November 1. Learn how the updates will affect costs, timelines, data collection, and your transactions, plus best practices to help agents prepare.

We’ll also tackle the appraisal challenges unique to Santa Cruz County, including micro-markets, difficult comps, ocean views and location, ADUs, acreage, unique properties, and low appraisals—and discuss what information agents can provide to help support an accurate valuation.

Promote exchange of information and SCCAR membership involvement, at all levels of government on issue affecting the membership and ownership of private real property. Develop programs to keep SCCAR members informed and updated on National, State, and local rules, bills (pending and enacted), and legislation. Attendees will get an overview of the RPA (Residential Purchase Agreement) as it related to mandatory disclosures and contractual timeframes; specifically the Transfer Disclosure Statement (TDS) and Seller Property Questionnaire (SBQ).
