    9:00 AM-12:00 PM
    October 8, 2021

How much value does solar add? Saving money is the primary motive for owners of both new and existing homes to invest in solar, but an even stronger market driver may be CA building codes. Appraisers and Realtors will gain expertise to better serve clients with solar-powered homes

    • The first question to ask about a solar system
    • The most important question to answer re: valuation of a solar system
    • How to determine value of solar PV systems
    • Key essential points to include in listings
    • Storage plus solar for resilience in extreme events and power shortages

  • SCCP: Land Use and Our Coast
    9:30 AM-11:00 AM
    October 29, 2021

Krista Pleiser, MPP with Smart Coast California will be educating attendees on Smart Coast and the upcoming Santa Cruz County LCPA (Local Coastal Program Amendments). Smart Coast California is a 501(c)6 established in 2019 to promote and advocate for property rights and smart land use policies affecting California’s 1,100 miles of coastline. Smart Coast California has a multipronged approach to commonsense land use policies that will keep our coast beautiful and protect property rights. They vet policies and take into account that each community is unique and a “one size fits all” approach to coastal properties does not work.

The seventh class in our SCCP series can be taken independent of the series.  Fee $20
