Course Description

This course details the Residential Purchase Agreement and Joint Escrow Instructions (RPA-CA). Students will learn about the primary parties to a contract, the general provisions affecting deposit receipt forms, and selected Regulations of the Real Estate Commissioner and Business and Professions Code.

This course has been developed to familiarize students with:

  • Basic contract principles
  • General provisions affecting residential purchase agreements
  • The current California Residential Purchase Agreement and Joint Escrow Instructions
  • Selected practical observations
